New Years Eve Circle

You are invited to join Ciara & Elisa for a heart warming New Year’s Eve Gathering at the beautiful and cosy The Den Yoga Studio.

Expect to be welcomed with soothing sounds of singing bowls as we arrive to the circle, be nourished and guided into your heart space by mama cacao while setting intentions for the year, we will continue to warm the heart with gentle voice exploration leading to a song and rhythm circle.

Serene live music and meditation will be weaved throughout.

The intention is to celebrate and honor what has been and is yet to come.

This gathering is suitable for all humans. Everybody welcome. Every voice is welcome.

Begin 2025 with a soul-nourishing experience designed to inspire, relax, and uplift. Join studio owner and yoga instructor Denis Jackson-Wade on the mat as he guides you through a breath-rich, soothing flow interwoven with grounding pockets of yin yoga.

This serene practice will be beautifully accompanied by the enchanting sounds of Ruth Corry on the harp, performing live. Ruth’s ethereal music, inspired by nature, yoga, and her new album Where the Light Is, creates a tranquil and transformative atmosphere that deepens the connection between movement, breath, and sound.

Class includes breathing techniques, deep relaxation, and physical yoga practice- both to make pregnancy more enjoyable and to help build strength and stamina for birth as well as bonding between you and your little baby.

You need to be 12-14 weeks pregnant to begin class and it’s good to start early if you can to help your body build muscle memory and confidence as your bump and baby grow. Don’t worry if you can’t start until later, you will still gain lots of benefits from attending class at any stage! And please don’t worry if you’ve never done yoga- a lot of people start yoga in pregnancy as it has many benefits for pregnancy, birth, and beyond.

Whereas this small group class is open to almost all, (sorry pregnant people, this one isn’t suitable), this class is ideal for those returning from injury, new to Pilates or those dealing with pain. With a strong focus on modifying movements for the individual or exercising whilst managing pain. Over the 5 weeks we will use a variety of small equipment to facilitate movement and progress. Participants will need to bring their own mats, but small equipment (such as balls and bands) are provided and sanitised between use. These are taught at The Den on the Malone Road in Belfast. (On the corner of Malone Road and Eglantine Avenue, opposite Fisherwick Presbyterian Church.

Celtic Yoga with Lisa Copeland

Lisa has been teaching for 20 years this autumn and over that time has developed a wide range of styles and practices that influence her yoga. Originally a traditional hatha yoga teacher having trained for two years with the Yoga Fellowship of NI, Lisa has since rebooted her style after spending a transformative year in the Burren studying with Jack Harrison and the Celtic School of Yoga. This has revolutionised the way she teaches.

Following the Celtic wheel and the seasons of the year Lisa’s classes are attuned to that cycle and the changing calendar and are reflective of what is needed at each of these key thresholds.

In 2023 Lisa trained with Petra Coveney and has now added Menopause Yoga © to her offerings.

Catch Lisa and her Celtic-inspired yoga classes at The Den every Monday evening from 730-9pm beginning 9th September or maybe book into one of her mellow menopause mornings here at The Den in autumn. She’ll also be holding a half day equinox retreat later in September.
